Proama, Poland

Overview

Groupama S.A., France and Fadata have a corporate contract since 2009, in which both companies agree for Fadata to provide its flagship product INSIS and the surrounding expert services to Groupama’s entities globally.  In March 2011 Groupama contacted Fadata with the request to make a proposal for a General Insurance system for Groupama’s new Greenfield direct sales venture in Poland.

The new company was aiming at a very quick launch and was still in the process of actually gathering its own the team for the company. By May 2011, Proama Poland was established and the main team started INSIS training in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Solution

Proama’s management decided on having its own team of experts take over the implementation of the system, together with a local partner (Sollers Consulting) that they had experience with. The flexibility, configurability and business-friendly nature of INSIS allows that and the two companies began implementation with just basic support, consulting, and additional trainings from Fadata.

Due to the short deadlines set for introducing the company on the Polish market, Proama and Sollers chose agile implementation methodology. There was a close collaboration between their technical and business teams, and there was Fadata’s involvement when needed and requested.

The company managed to finish the project on time and actually sold its first policy in November 2011.
