Fadata Group Acquires Digital Insurance Vendor IMPEO, and Expands Operations in German-speaking Markets
August 2, 2017
The IMPEO acquisition accelerates Fadata’s market presence in the German-speaking markets, and extends its insurance process platform (INSIS solution) with products and services to help insurers engage successfully with their customers and distribution partners.
The IMPEO team of highly skilled and experienced insurance technology specialists and business consultants, including the founders, Ralf Bojarra and Alexander Schweers, the general manager, Thomas Rekittke, and other senior team members, are all joining the expanded Fadata business.
“Fadata’s strategy is to offer our clients the best insurance software solutions to meet their growing and changing business needs” commented John Macdonald, CEO, Fadata Group. “IMPEO ‘s strengths are in their deep understanding of the requirements of the German-speaking markets, in delivering client-focused technology solutions to help insurers market their products, and in the depth of the skills and talent they have to help their customers’ digital journey. IMPEO’s solutions have great synergy with INSIS, our leading insurance process platform, expanding our overall opportunity to be the leading insurance solution vendor in Europe.”
Alexander Schweers, Co-Founder, IMPEO, commented: “Fadata, and its shareholders are in investment mode, capitalizing on their position of strength and industry leadership. We look forward to being part of Fadata’s mission to continue building and offering leading insurance software solutions, at an exciting time when the insurance industry is transforming faster than ever before.”
“We are very pleased to work closely with the team at Fadata, and being a leading part of their growth into the German market. Munich will develop as our principal operating base for the region as we grow the client base and customer services team across all the products of the Fadata Group”, added Ralf Bojarra, Co-Founder, IMPEO.
The acquisition allows Fadata to support insurers’ growing need for modern, mobile friendly customer-engagement and portal solutions, and to help insurers reduce overall costs and complexity by integrating these with Fadata’s existing core insurance process platform for end-to- end support.
The combined offering responds to both challenges, and creates an industry leading, cost effective digital front-to- back-end insurance technology proposition.
